FAQs about Making Purchases
How do I purchase this?
To purchase an item for sale on our Facebook page, either on our timeline or in our photo albums, leave a comment under the post that says "SOLD" . If there are multiple items with different number stickers, make sure you tell us which one you are buying i.e. SOLD 15 . Many of our items are unique pieces, so if there is already a sold comment from another customer, the item may no longer be available. The first person to comment sold purchases the item.
To purchase an item during our live show, comment SOLD and the number shown on the sticker we place on each item. i.e. "SOLD #15". If you can give us a description that makes it a lot easier and we appreciate it! i.e. SOLD #15 Green Skull or SOLD #91 Amethyst Point . The first person to comment sold purchases the item. If a person asks for a closer look at a piece before anyone says sold, that person is given first dibs on that item and has three minutes to either say SOLD or pass.
When are your live shows?
Our live shows are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights at 8:30 Eastern Standard Time and run til about 11 p.m.
Is the price for each or the bag?
Whenever a bag of an item is shown on our site, the price is for the entire contents of the bag.
Do you have this stone/or that in a different color/more of that item that sold?
If you have a special request for something we don't have up for sale, or that has sold out before you could claim it, please put in a request and we will try our best to fulfill your wish. Use our request form found here - WE LIKE ROCKS REQUEST FORMWe get dozens of requests a day, so please keep in mind it could take a few days to respond to your request. If we do not have an item in stock, but have ordered more, please keep in mind it takes several weeks for our new stock to arrive from the time we order it.
Hey! On my screen I commented SOLD first! But you said someone else got it!
Facebook is tricky. We do not all see comments in the same order. They are in a different order on each person's screen. Many times Facebook will bump more "relevant to you" comments to the top. This means Facebook will sometimes show you your own comment was first when it wasn't. If there is a dispute, we re-watch the replay video in the morning and we make our decisions based on the final version of the show that Facebook saves. We try our very best to be fair and award the item to the first person we see comment SOLD.
What if I changed my mind and want to cancel some of the items I claimed?
When you comment sold, many times other customers are also commenting sold for the same item. For this reason, if you cancel items after you claim them, someone else has missed out on an item they would have purchased. Also, allowing unlimited cancelling could create a situation where one person claims every item just to sort out what they really wanted later, which takes the chance at claiming items away from the rest of our guests and we don't feel like that is fair. Please only claim the items you intend to purchase. We understand things happen and sometimes you change your mind, as a courtesy we allow our customers to cancel no more than two items per week.
FAQs about Paying
How do I pay?
We send out Paypal Invoices for your purchases once a week on Friday. All we need for this is your e-mail address.
When do I pay?
Invoices for each week go out during the day on Friday. For example, if you claim items on Monday, you will receive a Paypal invoice for that item four days later on Friday. Invoices are due within 48 hours. Unpaid invoices are cancelled and items are put back up for sale.
What if I don’t have Paypal?
You do not need a Paypal account to pay a Paypal invoice. You open your invoice, enter your payment information and hit pay. It is very simple :)
What if I pay late?
If you cannot pay your bill please reach out to us within 48 hours to make an arrangement. We deal with late bills on a case by case basis. If you are late multiple times, you will no longer be able to claim items from our sales. If we do not receive payment from you, and you do not reach out to us within 48 hours of your invoice being sent, we will cancel you order and put your claimed items back up for sale.
It is our our policy to not allow any customer with an outstanding balance to claim additional items. If you owe more than $1 on your previous week's order you may not claim any additional items until it is paid in full. No exceptions.
What if I can’t pay?
We ask that you do not claim items you do not intend to pay for this week. We also understand things happen, if you cannot pay your bill please reach out to us within 48 hours to make an arrangement.
FAQs about Shipping
An Important Note About Shipping Addresses
We are bound by Paypal policies to ship to the address Paypal has on file for you. So please double check that your shipping address is correct before sending payment.
When do you ship?
We close our sale on Friday when we send out invoices and pick and pack your orders all weekend long. We do our best to get orders in the mail on Monday and Tuesday, but we ask for your patience and some orders may not ship until the following Friday.
How do I hold ?
We don't want you to pay more shipping than you have to, so we allow you to hold your order from week to week to get the most out of your shipping charge. If do not want us to your ship your box yet, please pay your invoice and leave a $1 balance. The $1 remaining on your invoice keeps it open for us to add your next week's purchases to it and signals us not to ship your box yet. For example, if you owe $38 you would make a $37 payment to keep your box from shipping.
How much is shipping?
We ship in USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes. If your order fits safely in a small flat rate box shipping is $9. If your order requires a medium flat rate box, shipping is $17. Sometimes when we invoice we aren't sure whether your order will fit in a small box, so we will charge you $17. If on packing day we do get your order into a small box and we charged you $17, we will refund you $8.
How do I get my tracking number?
If you do have a Paypal account, you can check your order in Paypal and obtain the tracking number there. If not, feel free to message the page and ask us for a tracking number. You should also receive an e-mail when your order has shipped.
